Principal's Message

Welcome to North Forest High School—home of the Bulldogs!
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I serve as the principal of this historic campus. At North Forest High School, we are committed to academic excellence, student success, and cultivating a campus culture that empowers every student to thrive. Our mission is to ensure that all students are college, career, or military ready through high-quality instruction, strong character development, and meaningful community engagement.
Before joining Houston ISD, I began my educational career in 2002 at DeSoto Ninth Grade Center in DeSoto ISD. In 2007, I had the opportunity to become a high school assistant principal at Duncanville High School in Duncanville ISD. Over the years, I’ve served in several instructional leadership roles at campuses such as Morton Ranch High School in Katy ISD and Royal High School in Royal ISD. These experiences have deeply shaped my educational philosophy and commitment to equity, excellence, and opportunity for all students.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master’s in Educational Administration, both from Prairie View A&M University. In 2012, I earned my superintendent certification from Lamar University, further preparing me to lead with vision, integrity, and purpose.
North Forest High School is more than a school—it’s a community. I invite parents, partners, and stakeholders to join us as we continue to build a legacy of success. Together, we can ensure that every student leaves North Forest ready to lead and excel.
Thank you for visiting our website. I encourage you to explore the many programs and opportunities available at NFHS, and to stay connected with us throughout the school year.
